As this blog ages, I noticed there is a very different voice from when it began to where we are today. When I started this blog, I knew very little about Burning Man, and since then have become very intimate with the Beast that it is.
My first event with the Vegas Burners was something called Chilistock which, was essentially their decompression following the Burning Man event in 2008. It was being run by Bam Bam, Indigo and Captain Bill. I knew Indi going in and then I feel like I fell in almost naturally with the whole scene.
Go back to the beginning if you are new to the whole thing, unless you are interested in some of the politics or relationships between me and other burners that go backward in time on the list.
Before some people in the community fell out with others, we had a very happy community as a whole. Slowly over the last 2 years more and deeper cracks began appearing and now it feels like chunks are floating away. That is NOT to deter you from joining this community, because on the whole it is simply awesome. You are guaranteed to find someone to relate to and find friends and love here.
